Manufacturing Automation Lab
Located in II-117, this laboratory is the instrumental laboratory
for the Real Time Process Control course, ININ 4057. There the students
design, build, and control physical models mostly of manufacturing operations
controlled through a computer. The laboratory is equipped with 20 individual
work stations used for lab demonstration and developing course projects.
Each workstation is equipped with a computer, a PLC, and pneumatics.
The scaled model used to simulate manufacturing operations are built
with Fisher-Technik components. The lab also counts with software to
develop human-machine interface.
