  • Editor’s Choice recognition on article by Dr. Cristina Pomales

    The article Design Dimensions and Attributes for Web-Based Distance Learning Modules (2011) publish in the American Journal of Distance Education and authored in colaboration with the undergraduate student Angel Lopez and Dr. Yili Liu from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor was identified as the article most downloaded in that Journal. This year 2012, the article was selected as an Editor’s Choice and recognized as one of the most significant articles in the area of Educational Media & Technology.

  • Regalo de Pascua al Hogar de Niños Jesús de Nazaret

    El pasado lunes 16 de abril, con motivo de celebración de Pascua, miembros del Instituto de Ingenieros Industriales, Capítulo #891 de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayagüez llevó juegos, alegría y risas al Hogar de Niños Jesús de Nazaret en el Cerro las Mesas en el mencionado municipio. Los participantes de este singular evento, entre ellos estudiantes y profesores del Departamento de Ingeniería Industrial experimentaron un día lleno de emociones al compartir con los niños de dicho hogar. more ...
