
Who we are
ISSER is a research and consulting lab within the Industrial Engineering department at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. The UPRM system is the prime public higher education in Puerto Rico. UPRM's College of Engineering is the foremost engineering research institution in the Caribbean in terms of external funding and publications.

ISSER has two Directors and a number of affiliated faculty in different areas of specialization within the realm of industrial engineering, operations research, systems thinking and systems engineering, simulation, facilities planning, service quality, business intelligence, logistics, human factors, and other areas.
