Education and Investigation Laboratories
The department counts with the necessary resources to support the academic curriculum and the investigation. These include, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Laboratory where investigation is taught and made in areas centered in the people and their work situations.
Recently the Manufacture Laboratory was turned into a manufacture modern plant for electronic assembly (SMT). The Automated Manufacture Laboratory is dedicated to teach automatization fundamentals using the computers and PLCs.
The Quality Control Laboratory counts with modern tools for the analysis of statistical data. The Computer Center counts with the necessary computer programs for the analysis of: data, design, simulation, programming and others. Its main function is to support the students in their courses. The graduate students also count with their own computer center which serves to them as office.
